Prayers up! I hate seeing this kind of thing. Sometimes the bikers think they can just weave in and out of traffic or up the side of the road. They're invincible. We need to be aware of bikers, but they also need to help us be aware of them by following the laws of the road.

This is why I avoid highway riding! cars weave in and out of traffic just like bikers do! Who knows who’s fault it is! Either way the biker was going faster then should have been with the way that car is but the car could of cut him off as he was riding.. prayers to everyone involved.

Every time there's a car vs motorcycle accident, it's always the car's fault...even when it's not. πŸ™„ The season is just beginning, let's ALL be observant and drive responsibly. I hope these folks will be okay.

Drivers be aware of motorcycles. Motorcyclists be mindful of your actions and vehicles around you. Keep the roads safe.

Sitting in traffic because of this accident. Prayers for everyone involved.πŸ™πŸ™

My kid was on this ride. The boy involved was flown to Hershey for surgery on his arm I believe.

Prayers to all and agree everyone needs to be aware and not think they're above. Be a serious driver always

Hope they are ok. Just a reminder for all that there are a lot more elderly on the roads these days as boomers age so assume every driver is risk to you or may not see you and keep the advisable distance.

No one even knows if it’s the motorcyclist fault... the car could have cut him off..

Make roads just for motorcycles. Or put in bike paths for motorcycles, 2 strokes, quads, and tri wheel ect. These roads here are to congested. Designed for the 70's. Think its long overdue for a complete overhaul.

Let’s see...Rt 30 East and West bound from Lancaster to York is...55MPH!!!!

Of course it’s a beautiful day and people want to act like idiots, it’s supposed to be 60s the rest of the week and spring around the corner. There will be more nice days, use common sense.

Prayers to all involved! I hope everyone is going to be ok!

I'm a motorcycle rider and I ride with the wind. If you Don't like it move out of my way. Everyone breaks the law one way or the other and if you say you Don't or never have your a liar you just dont know enough about laws to know which ones you've broken. I understand it's dangerous and if I crash , injure myself or die Don't feel bad for me because I love giving it hell when I ride. Best therapy I ever had. 1% if you like it or not.

Before some people run their mouth about how the biker was not following the laws how about we all just stop and find all the facts smfh everyone is always to blame the biker and it is total bs

I just hope everyone involved is still with us. πŸ™

Does anyone know if he survived?

Prayers to all involved.

Meanwhile I just saw a biker go straight while in the turning lane (at the sheetz McDonald's intersection) just to cut off two cars.

Prayers for all involved

Jeeezzz shoes off and all.thats gotta be bad.looks like the motorcycle rear ended the car.

I’d bet at least a buck plus... πŸπŸ’¨

WOW! Must have been a high speed hit.

I hope everyone is ok. Looks bad 😩

uh oh! That's where they were headed ☹

Late winter and early spring are high-risk times in this area. No leaves to block the sun, sun dries out the fallen leaves, nothing has greened over yet

Looks like someone was burning when they shouldn't have been! Dry and windy is a bad concoction!

Good thing we have forestry crewsπŸ™„

Every where today. It’s nuts . It always happens to the other guy till you are the other guy.πŸ™„

Someone being asshole burning with it this dry come governed do what right make it that if you burn you get fined it high red flag.

Hellam Township PoliceARE WE EVER EXCITED ABOUT THIS!!! Yesterday was National Pet day. Yesterday the Hellam Township Supervisors also unanimously voted 5-0 we could move forward with a K-9 program. After a lot of research and planning we decided this would be the best for our department. Most of the credit goes to Officer Carpenter who got this started. There has been a lot accomplished already but we still need YOUR HELP to make this a successful implementation.

We feel a K-9 will help us be more effective as a police department. Some of the main areas a K-9 can help are; officer safety, public relations, criminal apprehension, tracking and detecting drugs.

A K-9 program can be very financial straining. Luckily, we have a lot of good people who want to help us! We still need a little more help to get this program up and running. Please share this post and visit www.gofundme.com/f/hellam-pd-k9?teamInvite=aodIC0H6LrscuGbiJu5eeEbct4M12E0paAgy1tlILIc2KbZyhRQQ2c...

Hellam Township PoliceWe have joined Neighbors!

Your Ring Neighborhood just got a whole lot stronger.

We're excited to announce that the Hellam Township Police Department has joined Neighbors! While this app will not be monitored by law enforcement 24/7, Hellam Township can now view, post, and respond to crime and safety related information posted on the Neighbors app. We can also submit video requests to help with active investigations in your area. We feel by working together we can make the communities we serve safer.

Please remember: for emergency situations always call 911.
